Dead Man’s Hand is our interpretation of the Russian Imperial Stout style. For the coming years, we plan to brew several versions of this beer.

Kolor czarny, po prostu czarny. Piana mega pot??na, be?owa, z drobnymi i ogromnymi oczami, d?ugo pozostaje w szkle. Aromat kawy, czekolady, karmelu lekko przypalonego i kwa?nych wi?ni. Nasycenie ?rednie, goryczka troch? zalegaj?ca i ?ci?gaj?ca, alkohol ?wietnie ukryty i ?wietnie znieczula. Gdybym mia? opisa? to piwo w kilku s?owach na pewno by?o by to: wytrawne, kwa?ne wino, kawa, skórka z grapefruita. Polecam.

(Bottle, 0,33 l, at HBF2015) The beer poured black. Its head was medium sized and lightly briwb. Aroma had wood, vineousness and burnt malts. Palate was full bodied and dry with medium carbonation. Flavours were wood, vineousness, sweetness, liquorice, vanilla and bitterness. Aftertaste was malty, woody and bitter. A rather nice but the finish a little bit too boozy.

Bottle at home. Black pour, thick tan head. Aroma is funky, roasted, earthy, some bready yeast, a hint of alcohol, wine and licorice. Flavor is quite bitter, a hint of sourness, smooth, thick bodied and well balanced. Impressive brew.

Quite overcarbonated for IMP stout. Theres some time before huge oversized head goes off and I actually can taste the brew. For me its more like imperial strong porter than IMP stout Quite interesting vinous note, some dark roasted malts, licorice, bit fruity tart. Some sweetness with light bitterness and light sourness. Feels quite messy and bit thin bodied, but in overall - quite enjoyable.

Tap. Poured black color with a moderate creamy tan head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Medium toasted sweet chocolate malt with a small alcohol aroma. Medium to abundant body with a smooth texture and flat carbonation. Medium to heavy dark toasted sweet flavor with a medium to heavy sweet finish of moderate duration. This is a solid beer.

Draft to taster at Ei8ht Ball. Pours dark brown to black in color with very little head and soft carbonation. The aroma and flavor have roasted malts, dark chocolate, oak, some vinous character, mild bitterness, dark fruits, if this had a bit more carbonation I bet the flavor would pop.
