Bottled 330ml. -Courtesy of kajser27, shared with him, Marko and franski. Almost black coloured, medium sized brown head, whiff of wine in the nose. Roasted malt, caramel, some chocolate and distinct wine notes (which I donít like much). Some roastiness in the finish. Somehow likable somehow not.

Dark brown colored, small to medium tan creamy head, good lacing. Aroma is some caramel malt, roasted malts, some chocolate, dried fruit and quite vinous. Taste is medium sweet chocolate, caramel, roasted malt, sugary, some dark fruits, roasted bitterness, strong red wine notes with some light tartness. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, bit creamy.

Thanks kajser! Almost pitch black, just slightly tinged with amber, creamy off white head. Hmm... the aroma isnít immediately appealing, there are admittedly red wine notes, interesting, but with dull dogfood maltiness underneath. Caramel, dry. Just slightly stale in a way, otherwise OK. Taste... remarkably light, red wine, fruity grapey notes are evident, not much underneath, but actually quite pleasant. Superbly hidden alcohol. Good maltiness but mostly near the finish, caramelly. Fruity finish, dry. Interesting. A tasty beer, but a completely atypical Imperial stout. Ended up being slightly on the sour side. Ooof dunno what to think about this.

Bottle from Kris Wines, Holloway. Black pour with a fluffy beige head. Aromas of raisin, coffee, dark chocolate and blackberry. Flavours of bonfire toffee, black treacle, blackcurrant, coffee and dark chocolate. Some varied tastes in there. Nice, smooth dry angle. Plenty of alcohol warmth. Good stuff.

Zeer donkerbruin bier met beige schuimkraag. Aroma van donkere vruchten en chocolade. Smaak is fruitig, pittig en bitterig zoals wijn. Zachte mondgevoel met korte bittere afdronk. Eindigt licht rokerig.
