Keg at the hack and hop. Hoping this counts as a London brewery tick. Very pale yellow with a thinwhite head. Aroma is pils grains, little zip of lemon, Belgian lager yeast, little farmyard. Flavour is composed of light grains a little straw, tangy apple. Nice dry finish and remains a pretty drinkable. Palate is refreshing, pretty crisp, dry finish. Lingering pils grain and tangy apple. Decent posh lager.

Keg at The Hope Carshalton. Hazy yellow, still, decentl foamy head leaves full lacing. Aroma is strong musty, yeasty lager. Body is medium, quite foamy, light carbonation. Taste - malty lager, not overly strong in flavour. Pretty plain.

Tap at the Hack & Hop. Pours clear golden with a firm white head on top. Nose is very biscuit driven with huge lemon. Loads of toffee biscuit and very doughy stuff with light floral hops. Very crisp. Touch simple otherwise solid

’Dean Swift Belgian Pils’ from the Dean Swift in Tower Bridge. Enjoyable if uninspirational pils, quite smooth and light tasting, pleasant bitterness in the finish but not bags of character.

Dean Swift. As ’Dean Swift Belgian Pils’. Clear gold beer, little white head. Palate is smooth and with nice fresh minerally carbonation. Fresh pale malt, a little nutty. Super mild citrus. Finishes with a crisp bite. Good light pils!

August 12, 2011 - draught at Dean Swift (as Dean Swift Belgian Pilsener). Clear bubbly gold with an average creamy white head. Smells like a grassy pils with light spicy/yeasty "Belgian" character. Taste is a bit sweet - honey, grassy - simple but clean. Light-bodied, mild carbonation, quick-finishing and no aftertaste. Meh - good with my meal.

On tap at Dean Swift, Tower Bridge, 9th April 2011, as "Dean Swift Belgian Pilsner". Good pilsner looks - golden with a little head. Lively taste is crisp and clean with loads of grain coming through. Very good pilsner IMHO. Fresh, tasty and clean equals good.

On keg at The Charles Lamb, Islington, London. Pale gold with slight head. Pretty straightforward light Pils, a touch of flowery hop on a standard thin body. Nothing special.
