COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A Double IPA weighing in at 113 IBU (a measure of bitterness, with the human palate supposedly unable to distinguish anything too much higher than 100).
It’s packed with a tonne of new world hops – Citra, Cascade, Galaxy, Chinook, Simcoe and Motueka – and delivers the sort of tropical fruit explosion that such a hopstravaganza would suggest!

Big time hop bomb that actually works and is very drinkable. Tropical fruit bowl if you like, i do!

BB 01Apr2015. Poured a clouded amber colour with a few millimetres of off-white foamy head that diminished quickly and laced poorly. Carbonation high and coarse. Aroma dominated by sweet floral and citrus hops - nice. Taste quite sweet followed by moderate level of hops bitterness; alcohol well hidden. Light body. Sweet and bitter finish. Nice!

330ml bottle. Pours a hazy medium amber, with a moderate off-white head, which lasts fairly well and leaves reasonable lacing. Resin, grapefruit and tropical hops mix with a little caramel malt in the aroma. Strong resin and kiwifruit hops up front give way to a reasonably weighty caramel malt body, with grapefruit and mild melon hops in the finish. A pretty decent Australian DIPA.

On tap at Archive Beer Boutique 020314. Powerful hop flavour fills the mouth with resinous citrus and floral hops. Looks great and tastes great.

Pours a hazy amber colour with a frothy off-white head. Aroma is malt, fruit, citrus, pine, floral notes and plenty of hops. Taste is medium sweet leading to a big bitter finish. I was quite impressed by this one.

Draught at Archive. Fruity aroma, cloudy amber in colour, smooth with hints of passionfruit in the taste.

Keg at The Local Taphouse, Melbourne, Victoria. Hazy amber, rich firm head. Fruity nose with citrus and gooseberry. Sweet with full body and soft mouthfeel. Sugar, cocoa, citrus and ripe fruits. Velvetty and surprisingly harmonious with camouflaged, yet severe bitterness.

on tap at the local taphouse in sydney. amber with a thin, short-lived head; aroma of tropical fruit with the galaxy and motueka dominating; plenty of bitterness with just a nagging touch of boiled cauliflower undermining the finish

Hop driven DIPA, which lacks a little bit of Body. Medium to light body, with big fruity flavours and aroma. Diacetyl was quite apparent. A Solid beer, which was enjoyable but could have been a lot better.
