Bottle, at Delirium Cafe. Sample shared with rickgordon. Dark red with a large beige head, partly diminishing, good lacings. Aroma moderate malty (brown sugar, caramel, chocolate) and hoppy. Flavor moderate sweet and bitter, long duration. Perfect balanced. Light to medium body, soft carbonated.

rickgordon (3816) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - FEB 8, 2006
On draught at Delirium Café, Göteborg. Stouby and I shared this sample. Light brown, a little hazy. Pretty dark belgo nose, estery, big aroma. Alcohol is there and a touch of chocolate. Flavour is rich chocolatey(like a doppelbock or why not Westvleteren 8), with a light body, yet smooth and creamy. Very nice maltiness. Long finish, with a notable bitter touch.

hughie (3994) - Bedford, Bedfordshire, ENGLAND - DEC 29, 2005
Dark brown beer, hazy with a thin off-white head. The aroma was sweet and yeasty with cocoa and liquorice. The flavour has malt and dark fruits with a yeasty tang, plenty of alcohol, and slight bitterness at the finish.

Sweet caramelly nose, dark brown color, clingy head. Served in a great glass with a bubble in the thick glass base. Soft-honeyish malt, little bitter to counter the sweetness. Creamy mouthfeel, round and full. Very nice.
