Bronze colour with a slight haze. Aroma is scrumpyish, lightly caramelly. Palate has more caramel, with apples and a minerally, off-dry finish.

Bottle @ home. Hazy yellow to light orange color, average to medium sized white head. Smell and taste malts, a touch of fruits, lightly sweet, some yeast. A pretty straightforward Belgian blond beer I’d say.

Bottle, courtesy of fonefan. A gusher, producing a more or less clear body with some microfloaties and a finger-thick off-white head leaving lacings. Rather Belgian aroma, fruity, slightly cellary and yeasty, with spiced notes, caramel and some alcohol. The flavor is a bit alcoholic, with fruits, caramel, spice notes and hints of yeast. Oxidation. Full-bodied, effervescent and warming on the palate. The end is a bit short, mostly caramel and fruits. Not very impressing, been there done that. 110128

Bottle 33 cl. Courtesy of fonefan. Comes as: "Deca Blonde Old Strong Ale". Pours a cloudy deep golden with floating impurities and a creamy and lacing white head. Very lively - comes gushing. Sweet overripe fruits in the nose. Solid body, overripe fruits and lots of candy sugar. A little yeasty, but has an oxidized touch to it. Very subdued bitterness. 280111

...must be the blond... from the looks...
Pours hazy golden-amber with a fine, small, creamy, white film head. Sweet aroma, some oranges, light biscuits, raspberries, sweet toffee. Light carbonation, fine creamy mouthfeel. Flavour is lightly bitter, some grassy hops amongst the obligatory yeasty presence. Apples, light sweet biscuity malts and some honey. Nice.

Aroma is sweet malts and a little zing. Taste has some slight skunk and not pleasing to drink. Some odd spice and sweetness blended with skunk, very odd.
