OlivierMTL (711) - Quebec, CANADA - APR 27, 2005

sayravai (4667) - Helsinki, FINLAND - APR 7, 2005
(Bottled) Muddy darkish brown with a medium, beige and creamy head. Slightly sour and wineous aroma with toffee, plums, pepper, tobacco, leather, some alcohol and tannic hints. Sweet-caramely, very malty flavor with rye-pudding and a dryish, roasted and slightly alcoholic finish. Quite full-bodied, warming palate with slightly too strong and fizzy carbonation. A very enjoyable and balanced, imperial stout -like brew for sipping it down slowly. A very pleasant surprise, and quite unbelgian!

Jukkabro (3484) - Tampere, FINLAND - FEB 17, 2005
Dark brown, cloudy color. Nice beige lasting foam. Mildly vinous, chocolate, spicy and slightly alcoholic aroma. Flavor has chocolate, sweetness, mild spices and dries nicely in the end. Medium to full bodied, nice lace in glass. Mild alcohol comes up in the end.

TBone (11926) - Pori, FINLAND - JAN 3, 2005
Bottled 25cl, different label than in RB (BB 06/2005)
Hazy nut brown, medium tanned head. Lively carbonation. Aroma of coffee and plums. Medium-bodied. Flavor is roasted, hoppy, malty with dark chocolate. This one has strong late bitterness and warming alcohol.

lachesis (756) - St Idesbald, BELGIUM - DEC 29, 2004
Pours a cloudy brown beer with a normal creamy head. The aroma is malty, nutty, faint soft spicy and dry caramely. The taste is well balanced and has a outspoken accent of nuts, malts and dry cookie’s.

Ungstrup (28448) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - AUG 16, 2004
An unclear brown beer with a huge light brown head. The aroma contains notes of coriander, oranges, yeast, wet cloth, and is a little sour. The flavor though is sweet with notes of yeast and coriander and a dry hoppy end.

Oakes (11819) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - AUG 4, 2004
UPDATED: SEP 2, 2009 Bright brown body. Little head. A lot of chocolate chip cookie dough but also with brandyish fruity character. Thin, like malt extract homebrew.

Sweet malty, raisin. Mincemeat. Good aroma, very addictive. Cloudy brown with lacing head. Medium body with light carb. Alcohol warming. Nice malty start, raisin, alcohol, light acidic. Finish is pumpernickel or all-grain sour bread. Bread after.
