4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20 kraddel (917) - deurne, BELGIUM - AUG 18, 2012
is this the same as ’vleteren’ cause i cant find that one. maybe the label changed? anyway, if not, i’m sorry for posting this wrong; this is for vleteren, by deca ( woesten- veleteren) wich i drank from a 33 cl bottle, brought to me by a friend.
i’ve heard it was the ’ white label’ of pannepot. the smell certainly is not. wich i like, cause the smell is the onley ’ bad ’ thing of a pannepot in my opinion. the taste is more like it. i understand they make a conection but this is way more easy, commercialized, less tasqte and specialty,... but definatly very good ! i’m gonna buy myself some of these :)
4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20 BelgianBeerGal (2615) - Dayton Area, Ohio, USA - MAR 12, 2007
25cL bottle. No it’s not the famous Westy from up the street but I thought this was a great beer, especially for the price. I would recommend trying this beer. Best place to buy is the drive-through beer barn in Woesten.

Bottle at Kulminator, Antwerp, Belgium Deep brown body with an off-white head. Excellent lace. Nicely balanced aroma of malts, spices - a good complexity. Moderately sweet, lightly bitter flavour which is also very nicely balanced.
4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 sayravai (4654) - Helsinki, FINLAND - APR 7, 2005
(Bottled) Muddy darkish brown with a medium, beige and creamy head. Slightly sour and wineous aroma with toffee, plums, pepper, tobacco, leather, some alcohol and tannic hints. Sweet-caramely, very malty flavor with rye-pudding and a dryish, roasted and slightly alcoholic finish. Quite full-bodied, warming palate with slightly too strong and fizzy carbonation. A very enjoyable and balanced, imperial stout -like brew for sipping it down slowly. A very pleasant surprise, and quite unbelgian!
