Bottled. Hazy golden/orange color, big creamy white head. Aroma is barnyard,some grains, hay and mild fruits. Flavour has sweet fruityness mixed with earth and some hayishness. The finish gets quite flowery and bitter with earthyness underlying. Mild notes of alcohol are also to be found.

Jul 13, 2007 Bottle, 33cl. Is this the same beer as Kartuis (for a restaurant @ Herne ?) Dark golodn color, big white head. Aroma hoppy, yeasts. Medium almost full body. Taste bitter, hops alcoholic toucht.

Jul 1, 2007 Bottled at Ter Posterie, Ypres, Belgium 23-06-07 along with a bottle of De Dolle Dulle Teve, this had a lot to live up to as the Dulle Teve was superb. This beer poured much darker than I expected and was really teetering on the edge of being amber in colour rather than the orange golden I anticipated. Subtle in taste and really needing a few sips before its true colours started to show, nice creaminess started to come through along with malts. Not bad at all.

Jun 9, 2007 (750ml bottle) Pours a cloudy golden orange body with a large white head. Aroma of fresh orange pulp, mustiness, baked apple, and earthiness. Flavor of orange peel, lemon, floral hops, yeast, and malt.

Feb 27, 2007 75cL corked bottle. Agree with other ratings that this is not the most finished tripel. A good beer but I thought it definitely had earth flavors from the cork. Still recommend trying it.
