Dallas Blonde 5.2% 23 IBUs Citrusy balanced session ale What does it mean to be a Dallas Blonde? Sounds like a loaded question. So load it up did, with citrusy and floral American hops, Pale, Vienna and Wheat malts. Yielding a delicately balanced, and shimmering golden ale. To us, it just goes down easy. 12oz can, thanks to DanielCoor. Mostly hazy golden orange color. Pours with a big, tall thick white head, that retains well and leaves plenty thick lace. Very big citrusy and floral hop aroma, very impressively big flavor for a blonde, very hoppy... But a bit more bite than I’d like from a blond, too. Sweeter than I’d like, big zest, light bitter, light acidity in the finish. Medium to bigger body, tastes bigger than you’d expect from 5.2. That may be a result of the very light carbonation. Lightly slick texture. Flavor is impressive, but palate hinders drinkability a little. Kind of spicy. Solid blond - impressively big flavor and taste for the style. Doesn’t go down as easy as advertised, though. Also, I wish there was a canning date to be found on this can, but alas...

Sampled at the 2014 Untapped festival in Fort Worth. Pours a clear gold with a large white head that lasts through out the beer and laces. Aroma has notes of sweet grain and bread with a bit of grass and nuttiness. Flavor has lots of grain and hay notes with just a hint of grassiness.

12 oz. bottle shared by DrSilverworm- thanks again, Chris! Pours a hazy pale gold with an inch of off-white head. Aroma of pale malts, grass, grains, hay, and minerals. Flavor is the same, with some light fruitiness. Light-bodied, with low to moderate carbonation and a dry mouthfeel that leans a little grassy and earthy. Not bad.

Can at BTBF. Pours with a hazy golden hued body with a small white head. Aromas are malty, toasty, grainy, low ester, light hop floral character. Flavors are grainy, bready and toasty. Light hop presence, low bitterness, pretty clean. Crisp. Lively carbonation and dry. Easy drinking and unoffensive.

On cask at The Hay Merchant. Pours a cloudy gold with a s frothy white head leaving spotty lacing. The aroma is wheat, honey, and citrus. Medium mouthfeel with a light honey flavor and citrus. A decent blond from Deep Ellum.

Can:   Straw, on the darker side, faint haze, tiny white head, virtually no lacing.   Wheaty nose, even a touch spicy.   Also has a faint floral and citrusy aroma.   Similar on the tongue, albeit a bit softer.   Body and mouthfeel are moderate.   Pale citrusy bitterness lingers after the finish.   This one seems to have more character than most, more citrus bits, with that wheaty body.   Enjoyable.   Thanks Bill!

Irving, Tx - Las Colinas Beverage - 12 oz can. Slightly murky, medium golden pour, sticky, medium thick white head. Aroma of vanilla and a bit of honey. Flavor leans to the sweet side with some vanilla notes, a brief touch of yeast, some cracker-like breadiness. Mouthfeel is just thick enough. Had better blondes - fun label.

Tap@Texas State Fair-Norman, Okla....63-21, huh? Clear golden color with white sheen. Bready, grainy, dusty pale malt aromas with mild spicy hops. Light to medium body with average co2. Lightly dry cracker malt flavors with some, floral, spicy hops, mild butter burp to finish--not bad---but better than watching Texas get their ass handed to them.....
