3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pretty big across the board...big bodied and slightly sticky. Ample malt, but bitter enough to satisfy, while also being fruity and spicy/earthy at the same time. Good brew.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
12 oz. can. Pours an opaque reddish orange with a small eggshell colored head. Aroma of citrus, pine, resin and floral notes. Flavor is sweet and bitter, with strong citrus peel and pine bitterness. Some booziness and sweet malt notes. Some booze in the finish. Pretty nice strong ale/DIPA.

On tap at deep ellum. I personally couldnít tell much of a difference from the other IPA. Typical IPA aroma and flavor. Good beer.

3.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Can from roxtersoxter - thanks! Cloudy orange, ring of foam. Big grapefruit aroma, plus some brown sugar or molasses. Smooth malt flavors at first, brown sugar, mostly, then grapefruit hops. Unfortunately starts to go south as it warms, with butter aromas and flavors emerging.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Pours deep caramel color with full tan head out of can. Excellent aroma of citrus, pineapple, and of course hops. First thing to hit me in this beer is a caramel taste followed by a smooth hop flavor. Pleasantly surprised by this beer.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Pours a dark brownish orangeish color with a dark tan head. When held to light, itís a beautiful burnt orange color. The lacing is wonderful. Aroma is pineapple, candy orange, caramel malts. Not a whole lot of hop characteristics. This follows to the taste. Much like Karbachís Rodeo Clown, this is a malt bomb of an IPA. Itís not my thing when it comes to IPAís, much less double IPAís. Iíll drink it, but wonít search it out again.

Hazy copper with a big creamy cream colored head. Aroma of pine, rye, caramel, and citrus. Taste is malty sweet with decent bitterness and some spice from the rye. Smooth and medium bodied.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
12 oz. can thanks going to Righcross55 on this one! Date on bottom of can is 04/17/2014. Nice cloudy amber and orange color with suds of white head in the snifter. Aroma is spicy rye, pine resins and a touch of what may have been citrus.
Flavor caramel bready malt balances the brew just right. The rye is right upfront in the sip with pine and grapefruit in the finish. Bitterness lingers for a few seconds after the sip leading into a oily / juicy texture. The flavor I get is nice right now I can only imagine how big this is fresh. The ABV is hidden well and really overall was easy to sip on a hot summer afternoon. Nice drink.
