COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
It’s no secret, at DEBC, we’re fond of hops. Citrusy, piney, floral, and fruity hops are at least a third of this whole adventure. Hops may be the current ruler of the craft beer scene, and we, for one, welcome our resinous, spicy, bitter overlords. We’ve taken the IPA category to its Event Horizon, and pulled back just enough to see the edge. Get the big picture, it’s hoppy! Hops - Summit, Columbus, Apollo, Liberty, and more! Malts - Pale ale, Vienna, Honey (NB previous versions contained rye) Yeast - English Ale Other - Raw cane sugar

On tap. Pours with a clear golden hued body with a small white head. Aromas are dank, citrusy, spicy, herbal. A little bit of sweet marmalade, a touch sticky and boozy. Flavors are sweet, a bit boozy, floral, pine and sticky resins. A touch fusel. Earthy hop character, a touch spicy, pine. Lively carbonation but a sticky mouthfeel.

Draught at Vancouver Craft Beer Week 2015
Hazy light amber color with compact head. Nice hoppy aroma, some cereals. The body is lean for the style, and it has a light suspicious sourness. Simple flavor of malt and hops, not specifically interesting.
Mediocre.

Sampled during VCBW 2015 pouring a clear deep copper color with a finger of white head leaving spotted lacing on the glass. Aroma is pleasant with floral and citrus notes with some caramel notes. Taste is a citrus and pine hop bitterness with a malty sweetness and grainy mouth feel. Overall, a pretty solid DIPA which is tasty and quite easy to drink.

mcberko (9174) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - JUN 6, 2015
On tap at VCBW Fest, pours a clear amber orange with a medium white head. Nose brings out light rye, some resinous hops and dry biscuity caramel malt. Flavour is quite restrained for a double IPA, with light spicy rye, spicy hops and just enough biscuity malt. Nothing incredible, but decently made. Not bad.

Resinous finish, some grassy bitterness, lightly toasted bread and grains, dank citrus fruits. Not bad.
