COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our year round ode to the Pacific Northwest hop. At DEBC, we like hops, but we like American hops most of all. Here we use some of our absolute favorites. However, they might not be used like you may expect, by using varieties with high alpha acid contents (which means more potential for bitterness) and using them in ways to emphasize the flavor and aroma we can render a rather bitter ale with over the top tropical fruit, citrus, pine, floral, and more hop derived aroma and flavor. Style: American-style India Pale Ale Hops: Citra, Amarillo, Chinook, Palisade, and Summit Malts: Pale Ale, Vienna, Honey, and White Wheat Yeast: English Ale

Orange copper pour. Mild haziness. Medium whit head and lots of lacing. Piney floral hop aroma. Flavor is very similar. Lots of citra and chinook hop presence. A little spice. Bitter and dry finish. ---Rated via iPhone

12 oz can dated 05/08/15. Pours dark orange with an off-white head that lingers for a minute. Citrus aroma dominated by orange with some red apple and a slight bit of oxidation. More orange flavor with a nice balance of sweetness and bitterness. Clean finish leaves only the flavor or orange rind. Very nice.

Irving, Tx - Las Colinas Beverage- 12 oz can. Pours a dark golden/light orange with an eggshell white head that leaves a bit of lacing. Patented spruce-like aroma, hint of spearmint. Flavor has a solid citrus butter backbone, some nectarine fruitiness, a touch of cake mix and honey sweetness, Mouthfeel has a nice solid creamy thickness to it. Duly impressed.

I'm impressed. Not generally an IPA fan, yet, but beers like this nudge me towards fandom. Great citrusy nose. Darker color than I'm used to seeing. Good carbonation. Bitter doesn't linger. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Draft. Pours orange with a white head. Light fruity hops, mild bitterness, and some sweet malty hints, followed by a relatively quick and clean finish. Not bad.

Can from rougeau13 - thanks! Slightly hazy orange, with a big sturdy white head. Smells citrusy and caramel. Flavor is surprisingly sweet at first, with caramel and honey notes. Resiny, bone dry finish. Simple and tasty.

Can poured a hazy orange amber with a lasting ivory head. Aromas of biscuit, grapefruit, earthiness and light pine. Palate was light bodied and crisp with a smooth dy finish. Flavors of biscuit, peach, grapefruit, pine and light earthiness with a smooth dry bitter lingering grapefruit finish.

Can. Pours a clear deep gold with a high, fluffy, off-white, lacy, mixed-grain head. Nose is grapefruit, musk, sage, lilac, hard cheese, and rose -- really complex. Good bitterness up front, followed by orange-toffee malt; the balance is perfect, and the carbonation is mild and acts as an excellent foil. Almost English in style, itís really refreshing; the bitterness kicks back in on the close, sweeping the palate clean. Finish is tangy. Very good.

12 oz can poured into a shaker. Mellow grassy and bright, sweet orange aromas come through along with light resin notes. It pours a dusty orange color with a white, fuzzy head that leaves a moderate lace and retains a medium thin ring. The taste is medium high sweet and medium bitter. The medium body beer is oily and light fizzy with flavors of sweet oranges and bread and it finishes dry, clean, chalky, and grass with an aftertaste thatís grassy with a light citrus peel and a waxy, light cloying quality.

Aroma is strong fruity hops with a hint of cider. Appearance is good copper body but little head. Flavour is okay hoppy notes but not strong enough on the mouthfeel. It needs to be stronger on the finish. Itís just an okay IPA.

Pours a cloudy amber-orange with a white head and lacing. It has a nice floral, citrus aroma with a flavor of resin and hoppy citrus up front and a great, bitter finish. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
