dlihcsnatas (349) - Texas, USA - NOV 9, 2014
Golden brew with thin head and aroma of a typical lager. Kind of grainy with a bit of hops. Can says, "Mexican Style Lager", but taste is better than a typical lager made in Mexico. Beats the heck out of Dos Equis, Corona, Indio, etc, etc.

Pours a cloudy orange golden color with whitr head. Light fruits and cereal grains on the nose; follows onto the palate. Finishes with a bittersweet note. Weird finish.

Bonus from a recent trade. On the fruitier side of things making this a little more enjoyable than your standard lager. Frothy white head. Little bit of spice.

Poured a deep yellow with no head. Slight nose of hops but in the mouth you get more hot malt then hops.

Cans from a six pack. Appearance has ranged from murky to cloudy orange from can to can. Decent white head. Aroma is grains, light honey, and light pear and peach. Taste is the same with an odd bitter aftertaste. Medium body.

Faint grain aroma, taste adds light fruit but that’s really about it. Least interesting Deep Ellum brew I’ve had.

Mora2000 (5856) - McKinney, Texas, USA - APR 21, 2014
On tap at Big Texas Beer Fest. Clear golden pour with a white head. The aroma and flavor are full of grain with not too much else going on. I get a hint of grass and maybe a bit of light citrus, but the grain is what really stands out. Thin mouthfeel and medium carbonation. Not offensive by any means, but I am not really sure what Deep Ellum was going for on this one.

On tap at the BTBF. The look is very golden in color, very clear, and has a white head. . The smell is really light, little fruit, grainy, malts, and eh. The taste is much the same.
