Slightly above average. Faint malt aroma. Dark golden color with a light palate. Flavor was earthy malt up front with a mild hop presence.

Can. Dark orange. Malty, rich bread. Sweet flavor, nicely malty, a bit of grass hop. Nicely drinkable lawn mower beer.

Can at the American Craft Beer Experience. Neato bandito a clear orange gold with a malty honey graham aroma. Clean malty sweet honey aroma with a crisp grainy finish. Seeing this listed as an Amber ale surprised me I’d say it’s more of a golden ale...

Golden color. Grainy aroma. Light, easy drinking. Not very complex but I get the impression that was the point. Fans of Mexican lagers will enjoy this one.

On tap at Lakewood Growler. Pours a dark yellow with a thin white head. The aromas are bread, malt. The mouthfeel is watery and dry with a medium body and light carbonation. Cheers!

12 oz can says it’s a "Czech-inspired Mexican-style lager." Not sure what that means, but I’ll roll with it. Pours hazy golden with a white head an some tiny floaties. Lots of nice biscuit flavor and aroma. Slight, earthy hop presence. Pretty sweet flavor overall. Could use a bit more carb. Clean and refreshing.

On tap. Pours a deep golden color with a white fluffy head. Notes of clover honey, cereal grains, slightly skunky hops, and grass. Decent weight mouthfeel. Not bad.

Bottle from Rehills and Coppers, Newcastle. Hazy orange-amber coloured with juicy tropical fruit and orange marmalade flavours followed by a creamy, dry pine finish. Excellent!

Golden brew with thin head and aroma of a typical lager. Kind of grainy with a bit of hops. Can says, "Mexican Style Lager", but taste is better than a typical lager made in Mexico. Beats the heck out of Dos Equis, Corona, Indio, etc, etc.
