Sample at Hay Merchant in Houston. Reddish-brown color with a medium light beige head that dissipates steadily to a film. Partial rings of lacing. Smells of caramel, oak and malt. Medium to full body with a slightly syrupy mouthfeel and flavors of caramel malt, floral hops and a touch of honey. The finish is sweet with a lingering caramel aftertaste. Above average overall.

On tap at Hay Merchant. Pours a dark ruby with large creamy beige head that lasts awhile leavin sticky lacing. The aroma is a bready malt and caramel. Thin mouth with rich caramel malt with nice sweet finish. Easy to drink a very good doppelbock from Deep Elllum.

A full brown beer with a red tint. The head is lacy and tan. The aroma is malty and enticing. The flavor is all malt and very good. Its not too sweet. It has a medium bite and tastes sessionable but it can’t be being a doppel.

Tap at flying saucer Garland with Brittanynl. Poured a beautiful reddish color with a thin white top. Taste of caramel, honey, oak, sweet, esters, delicious. Sticky, syrupy, surgery on the palate. Complex brew, just another amazing brew from Deep Ellum. Texas brews, FTW!
