   AROMA 4/10   APPEARANCE 2/5   TASTE 3/10   PALATE 2/5   OVERALL 7/20
bu11zeye (11971) - Frisco (Dallas), Texas, USA - AUG 22, 2012
(Draught) Pours a lightly hazy copper body with a thin white head. Aroma of roasted rye, caramel, mustiness, and mold. Flavor of rye, rotten citrus, and minerals with a watered down mouthfeel and yet with a metallic, bitter finish nonetheless.

Bottle courtesy of Bu11zeye (thanks Markus!) poured a clear gold with a lasting egg white head. Aromas of rye, straw, earthiness and spicy hops. Palate was light bodied and crisp with a dry finish. Flavors of rye, straw, spicy hops and light earthiness with a crisp dry bitter lingering rye finish.

BMan1113VR (7868) - Los Angeles, California, USA - APR 26, 2012
On tap at a bunch of different places. Many ounces consumed. Pours with a clear golden hued body with a lasting white head. Aromas are spicy, herbal, nice noble hop character (seems kind of like tettanger if I had to guess). Nice bready malt profile. Very clean yeast wise. Flavors are herbal, spicy hops, bready and full malt profile with a bitter and dry finish. Very clean and crisp. Dry and clean with medium carbonation and a somewhat thin body. Lasting bitterness.

rosenbergh (7353) - Tampere, FINLAND - SEP 16, 2013
12 oz can. From a trade with Rosebud butternuts.
Hazy golden colour with a small white head. Mild fruity hops and malt in the aroma. The flavour is much more bitter with grassy hops, mild rye smoothness and malt. Drinkable.

deyholla (6951) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - AUG 26, 2013
Can thanks to Sarah! Pours a clear deep gold with a white head that dissipates slowly and laces. Aroma has a crisp lager yeast with supporting rye and a nice grass backing. Flavor starts with rye and grass and has a nice crispness in the finish.

phaleslu (6790) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - APR 16, 2012
Draft sample at Schlafly Repeal of Prohibition Festival, 2012. Pours a clear golden color with just a little bit of reddish coloring and a finger of eggshell white head. Thanks for the big pour, Keir. Spicy aroma, with rye, pepper, and herbs, along with dry grains, sugar, and sweet and pale malts. Flavor of rye, pale and sweet malts, crackers, spicy hops, and grass. Light-bodied, with medium carbonation and a crisp mouthfeel. Really nice.

12 ounce can. Pours a bright amber color with a medium white head. A sweet nose of honey and rye. Very light, clean and easygoing: rye spice, some light honey, earthy malt, light bitter hops meld with the rye. Good.

5000 (6298) - Hardened Liver, Washington, USA - MAR 5, 2013
Bottle:   Orangish straw, a bit hazy, huge rocky white head, nice lacing.   Straw and rye on the nose, faint pixie stix like sweetness.   Dry and husky on the tongue, definite rye presense but a little rough.   Otherwise a bit grassy.   Not as rough on the finish, actually comes across much better.   A little citrusy sweetness.   Body and mouthfeel are average.   Lingering citrus bits.   Not as grassy or with straw/hay as most pils.   Seems very Rye like, but also somewhat like a Pale Ale.   Decent.

AmEricanbrew (6004) - Same Trailer, Different Park, Louisiana, USA - DEC 17, 2012
Bottle. Clear geek color with lasting white head. Spicy rye, yeasty multigrain bread aromas. Light body with average co2. Dry peppery, spicy rye bread, dusty pils malt flavors--drying finish-good.
