UPDATED: FEB 24, 2013 On tap at both Common Table at the launch party and at Barcadia in Dallas. Nice golden color, not much head or lacing. Complex taste with very notable fruitiness. Chardonnay barrel adds an interesting level of flavor. Great overall beer especially if you prefer Belgians. Tried this again some time later and tasted very differently. Lowering the overall rating for lack of consistency, even though initial tasting was great.

Pours a hazy golden color with white head. Spices, herbs, and some grapes on the nose from the must; follows onto the palate. The booze is pretty well hidden in this one. Pretty solid brew.

Tap at Craft and Growler - a bit of an odd beer, here - itís quite sweet, but also somewhat sour, with a punch of acetone through the middle that lingers through the finish and is amplified by the alcohol presence - †bit of white grape late - one of those beers where you canít tell if itís infected or supposed to taste like this - odd.

A pretty good stab at the Belgians by a relatively new TX brewer. Belgian yeast and pear aromas. Golden and clear color with a nice white head. Good soft and smooth palate with average carbonation. Fruity esters were really pronounced on this one with some spice on the back end. The white wine grape juice stood out. Also a little tart at times. Hops presence was minimal. Good stuff.

On tap at The Common Table. Pours a cloudy dull yellow with a thin white head. The aromas are lemon, bread, bubblegum. The mouthfeel is zesty, slightly dry wand watery with a light body and good carbonation. Cheers!

Draft... Hazy golden ale with a small, creamy, white head. The nose offers fruity, herbal, Belgian phenols and esters - light clove, pear and peach. Medium to full-bodied with tickling carbonation. The flavor is fruity, tart and lightly spiced - apricot, white grapes and clove. Finishes tangy with a whisper of clove. Well-brewed, but this style isnít my thing.
