2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20 heavy (1490) - Split, - SEP 9, 2007
UPDATED: MAY 19, 2008 0.5 l bottle. Pours pale yellow color with smaller moderate head. Aroma of nice citrus hops and some malts. Already now obvious it is different than "deep pivo lager". Flavor quite sweet malty and not bad definitely with hints of caramel... Nice palate, quite oily with pleasant sweet finish. This is the best supermarket beer I have tried so far, although not so great beer, too sweet.
Edit: impaired score

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20 Marko (3115) - Split, CROATIA - NOV 28, 2006
UPDATED: FEB 12, 2007 Can I wouldn’t bother with entering and rating both, but ozujsko was certain that they were different. Yellow colour, with a big white head that went away fast... The nose is yeasty, dust... malt. Taste... hopiness seems to be more pronounced than in the "blue label", with noticable breadiness and some lemon, some maltines. Quite drinkable. I’m positive that the base recipe of the two Deep (hahahaha) beers is the same... only this has fermented/was lagered a bit longer, and therefore is better.
