Scopey (6726) - Croydon, Greater London, ENGLAND - JUN 19, 2014
Bottle from Deeside Drinks Emporium. It pours clear gold with a small white head. The nose is grainy, straw, odd sweetness, honey and grass. The taste is soft, grainy, sweetish, dirty water and hay with a short, dry finish. Light body and fine carbonation. Very basic stuff. Watery and not at all pleasant...

Pours lager golden with next to no head, aroma is not that much light malts, taste is much the same, bitter hop on the end, very small hint of honey. Unremarkable and better session able beers out there

330ml bottle from Aldi, Prestwick - clear golden yellow, non-existent head, very weak corn aroma, no lacing, pale malty and corn flavour, bitter, dry finish, I would have liked this to be a bit sweeter

A good lager at a nice session strength of 4.1%abv. A pleasant full flavour with good hoppiness. Not much more I can say really but a good effort all round.

Bottle from Aldi. Clear golden body with a thin white head that slowly fades. Lively carbonation. No lacing. Aroma of grass and shortbread. Soft, clean, well balanced flavour. Slightly earthy, peppery finish. Thin body with a watery, slightly oily texture. Average carbonation. A lovely, moreish Lager.
