Cask at 2011 Deeside Beer Festival. It pours hazy straw yellow, with a very thin bubbly white head and soft carbonation. The nose is hay, grass, pine and white bread. The taste is hay, tangy lemon, lime, orange zest and soap. It is very light, perhaps too watery in the mouth. It is easy to drink, but this is definitely not my favourite style.

500ml bottle. 4.1%abv. Picked this one up for £1. Kind of a blond ale/craft lager thing going on. Taste is along the lines of Anchor steam, Brooklyn lager but much lighter. Bit floral on the nose with some light caramel malt and a bit of bitterness on the back end. Very refreshing and easy to drink. Nothing too complex going on here, but sometimes I like that. Could session this before moving on to a few Porters or IPAs.

Bottle at home. Clear straw yellow colour snall white head. Nose and taste also grainy like a helles. Crisp carbonation. This is my first cali common so this is maybe how it should taste but this feels like a medicore lager and noting else.

August 14, 2015. Bottle.Tasting at omhper, thanks for sharing!
Clear golden with a small white head. Aroma is butterscotch, some grassy, fruity and floral hoppy notes. Taste is sweet malty, some butterscotch, very light bitter, some grassy notes and a slight sour touch in the finish. Medium bodied, small bubble carbonation.

Clear light golden with thin white head. No aroma. Light, a hint malty, a bit floral; a very clean lager with no hoppy bitterness. Moderately carbonated, with a tickly finish. Very refreshing.

Thin head with a hazy straw colour appearance. Crisp with a nice hoppy after taste. More a mild IPA than a steam beer though. Refreshing though and worth a try.
