COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Cask; Regular.
A 4% very pale ale. Amber malt gives a touch of nuttiness, whilst fuggles and aurora hops give a pleasant balance. An excellent beer suitable for any occasion at any time of year.

Bottle from Dobbies Garden World, Aberdeen. It pours hazy golden yellow, with a thick white head. The nose is baked beans, smoke and light citrus. The taste is hay, straw, baked beans, potato waffles, lemon, toasted malt and white bread, with a light bitter finish. Light body and low carbonation. Inoffensive, but not particularly exciting.

Bottle at a tasting. Pours cloudy gold with a small, foamy white head. Some baked beans in the aroma and the flavor. Pretty sweet, light nuts, some toast, very mild earth. Light bodied with average carbonation. Fairly clean on the finish, some toast and light nuttiness, bit of toasted sugar. Not bad.

Cask @ Troon Beer Festival. Citrus fruit & vegetable aroma. Slightly cloudy golden yellow colour. Citrus fruit flavour with dry aftertaste. Not sure why this is a bitter rather than a golden ale. Acceptable.

Cask, gravity at The White Horse, Hedgerley, Bucks, Thames Tipple Leg 9 (Fins brucie bonus again) 13-03-10 This is golden in colour with just a very light smattering of hops on the nose. Loz quite correctly suggested that ’it really doesn’t taste of much does it’, I have to agree. There was a light fruitiness and some hops there but all in all a bit of a lightweight in the flavour department. A5 A3 F6 P3 Ov11 2.8

Cask Handpump at the Micro Bar, Manchester Arndale Centre 20/01/2010 Hoppy aroma. Small white head. Golden coloured smooth on the palate and hoppy with a little dryness in a bitter malt finish.
