OK no real addition to notes but i sessioned this at Scottish Real Ale Festival 2010 ... It just such a drinkable porter... think hes dropped the Whey element to make it more drinkable but despite the fact that i prefer the balance as it currently stands ... i think the older more whey version was more destinct... great solid roast malts ... nice chocolate .. good body ... love it cask at moorings aberdeen ... deeeep blak ... thin tan head @.. soft milky chocolate roast .... little whey nose ... soft chocolate roast ... light sweet milk sugers ... lovely ... 4.4 cask at cask and barrel ...deep black ... thin tan head ... soft sweet puff candi nose ... again soft mellow puff candi ... no where near as good as it has been in past 3.7

Bottle at home ... deep black ... small tan head ... soft sweet roast ... chocolate .. small amount of whey ... OH tooo fizzy ... dark malts .... chocolate ... whey... quite a lot of whey this time ... bringin whey levels up again ... pretty good aprt from carbonation 8 4 9 2 18 = 4.1

OK Craig. Here it is. You are no longer alone in the world of ratings of Deeside beers. Huge thanks for taking me Cloisters to try this. Thanks! Nice grainy flavor, like chewing on roasted barley. A bit of roastiness that blends in well some barley sweetness. Good and easy to drink.
