berry fruit, clove, coriander, clove and a touch of banana take their turns for your attention. pleasant carbonation with low head and an altogether pleasant looking like strawberry golden beer. light body freshens up this ale and while truly out of sorts as the snow falls outside PINT J.C. the clove honey sweetness melds everything and cheers you up for the coming spring. Helps that these taps are sparkling clean.

Poured from growler purchased at the brewery. Lemon, honey, wheat in aroma. Very cloudy gold, slightest head. Wheat, rye and hay in flavor, not much else. Dry, carbonated feel makes it refreshing. Dry and slightly bitter aftertaste. Nice summer beer.

Tap at Barcade. Metallic, lifeless, raw grain aroma. Dull body. Flavor is middling, watery, spicy up front, with an inferior, lifeless finish. Disappointing.

Tap at Barcade. The beer is quite hazy with a yellow-colour. The beer has a kiss of lemon and banana with a touch of odd DMS character. The beer is fairly watery without much in the way of spiciness. It’s a definite low point of the evening, but with all the tasty surprises in here, they’re entitled to a bit of a miss.

Tap at Barcade: Headless cloudy orange pour. Dry phenolic aroma- lots of spicy toasted clove. Only a touch of banana notes. Slick body- not much carbonation, which I demand in this style (the liveliness!) Dry flavor- clovey, almost cinnamon like. Has that estery acetone character that I don’t like in this style. Dry though, but lacking.
