COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Mangus Pango means "Big Hammer" in Latin. This beer will start off with a welcoming malt sweetness and finish with a very delicate spice flavor that is not overwhelming.

Draft. Pours an amber body with an off white head. Apple, pear, and apricot esters. Modest fruit warming with a mild bittering hop tone. Some light cherry and spices with a salty sweet warming. Decent BW.

Tap at The Long Room, NYC. For a potent barley wine, this beer was surprisingly smooth and easygoing. Certainly there was a sweet, dark fruit aroma mingling about. The flavor was quite sweet and malty, with afternotes of raisins and ripe plums. Finish was candy-like and smooth with just mild alcohol presence. Very good and highly drinkable - which was good because the bar served it to me in a pint glass.
