egajdzis (2879), Terrapin, Pennsylvania, USA May 11, 2008 Poured a murky golden color with a medium sized, white head that left nice lacing on the glass. Aroma of dirty socks, earthy yeast, apricot, some orange peel, and green grapes. Taste of vanilla, some honey, almonds, toffee malts, green grapes, citrus fruits, and a tart finish.

Eyedrinkale (3091), Beer Town, New York, USA May 25, 2008 Sampled at Paul’s Hoboken Gathering. Light yellow in color with an aroma of funky blue cheese. Flavor is vanilla with marshmallow. The best Defiant beer I’ve had so far. hophead75 (1631), Boonton, New Jersey, USA May 19, 2008 Sampled at Paul’s Hoboken Gathering. Hazy light golden/blonde in color. Aroma was very bad- stinky gym socks, sulfur, rotting grapes. Taste isn’t quite as bad as the aroma, with alot of brett and funk- some honey sweetness and musty yeast, some sulphur. Although it is great that the brewer is doing alot of experimental beers, this one didnt seem to work out.
