Hazy deep golden pour with 1-finger white head. Aroma of grainy pale malt, candi sugar, apricot, funky yeast, spice, and orange marmalade. Tastes pale malty and candi sugary, with hints of apricot, floral dryness, funky yeast, spices. The palate is medium heft, very carbonated, and it gets even more citrusy and apricotty as it warms, with the candi sugar coming out more as well as the florals. Very unique, as it tasted different with every sip.

| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 2/5 | 13/20 | Oct 22, 2009 750 ml bottle that popped and gushed. Took about 30 minutes to get a pint poured. Big big big fluffy egg-white head. Yellow and hazy. Spicy nose. Very spicy bite on the tongue, crisp, long lasting. Horse-blanket, grassy and dry and tart on the sides of the tongue. A bit watery but not distractinly so. Overcarbonation may create the extra bite. yobdoog (1543), Woodridge NY, New York, USA

Aroma has some simple zesty citrus with some grain. Taste is effervescent and some spice with a little citrus. I hear the new batch are not bottle bombs.
