3.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle 50 cl from GGF Getränke in Aarau (CH).
Pale orange beer, invading and persistent foam, champagnized carbonation. Flavor of malt, hops, fruity, touches of yeast, honey and herbs. At first bitter-soft in the mouth, pleasant, slightly rough, hints of orange. Ten comes the bitterness, lined with a little salt. Beautiful blonde well made, elegant.

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Bottled, thanks Bov! Cloudy golden, small head. Fruity and mildly citrusy. Light-medium bodied with clean spritzy mouthfeel. Finishes with low bitterness. Excessive carbonation takes the edge of it.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
(bottle, courtesy of Allen) Hazy, golden colour with a blond medium-sized foamy head. Fresh yeasty and pale malty aroma with aromatic citrus- and lime-fruity hops and peppery spice. Slight sweet and shy bitter flavour, slim bodied with a slightly fizzy carbonation. Pale malt-character, yeasty, mildly fruity and floral hoppy taste, pretty dry and fizzy, also noble hoppy finish. Not a perfect but quite aromatic and fresh Zwickel/Kellerbier. 19.XII.09

3.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
bottle, kindly delivered by Allen - Merci! Hazy deep golden colour with a persistent mid-sized white head. Extremely fragrant and flowery-fruity nose. Light- to medium-bodied, malty background with lots of aromatic and fragrant hops. Not very bitter, but very flowery and fragrant, with hints of orange zest and citrus fruit. Well-balanced and extremely interesting. Thank you, Allen!

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
UPDATED: AUG 31, 2010 Bottled 50cl. Hazy copper colored with a decent white head. The nose is mainly of caramel, grain, butter, boiled milk, chestnut, raisin, gorgonzola, marshmallow and honey. A lot of raisin showing up in the taste. Vienna malt character. Late bitterness. Medium bodied. Dry finish which is reminiscent of raisin, marshmallow and fresh coriander. Plenty of malt character. I expected a better beer. Rerate: I had an infected bottle at the first rating probably. My second sampling would rate at about 3.3

Hazy golden color. It has an interesting aroma, of delicate German hops, grains, hay, light honey. It has a dry mouthfeel, and the flavor doesn’t match the aroma, quite common, with a hay feeling; correct bitterness; the final is slightly metallic. Can be improved.

UPDATED: AUG 27, 2009 courtesy of Florian Ruch - pours a hazy golden-blond colour with a persistent bright white foam; the nose is grassy and grainy with a light citrusy touch underneath; soft and creamy mouthfeel, medium malt backbone and with some late tartness; a shy bitterness and a quite dry grassy and lemongrass-like finish - subtle and nicely brewed
courtesy of Claude Degen ྫ/18/2007) - hazy blond colour with a little persistent foam; a shy aromatic hoppiness caresses the nose showing moderate notes of oranges and almonds; effervescent and medium-bodied; rather high carbonation; a bit tart and short finish with light fruity touches Ɠ/5/5/2/11)
