2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle from Erzbierschof, Bern, bb 7.5.2014
Hazy golden color with no head. Fruity aroma, wrong fermentation, not unpleasant but suspicious. Sweetish flavor of cereals, light fruitiness, although coming from weird fermentation; high bitterness.
Somehow wrong, not necessarily bad.

Bottle at Erzbiershof, Winterthur. Copper colour, patchy head. Interesting hop nose, apricots, orange marmelade, hints of cellar. Cellar flavours, maybe a touch of chocolate, still fruity. Original!

courtesy of Claude Degen - cloudy dark amber beer with a modest head retention; a fair flowery hoppiness with notes of tea and spices; a good malt backbone, dry and fairly bitter, gently sticky and piney; more notes of tea in a long hoppy finish
