2.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Head is initially small, fizzy, off-white, fully diminishing. Body is clear medium amber. Aroma is lightly malty (toasted grain), lightly hoppy (flowers, orange), with a hint of honey. Flavor is moderately sweet, moderately bitter. Finish is lightly sweet, moderately bitter. Light to medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation, slightly metallic. There's some Hallertauer in there, but not much, and otherwise there's really nothing interesting in this sample. Unbalanced a bit toward a metallic bitterness. Not enjoyable.

2.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Bleh. A sunflower seed, crackery-grainy aroma. Dry, dusty, straw flavor with some peanutty/sunflower tinges. Strictly utilitarian label, perhaps they could just put a giant barcode on it next go-round. Medium pinky-orange. A come-back-and-grab-you astringency to the the back palate, with lingering tartness. Made me want to spit.

2.3 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Minimal head, golden color, not much aroma or flavor. It sorta taste like a Marzen, more of a micro beer for macro drinkers.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Draft at Phillips Restaurant in Baltimore. This one had a little malty bite to it, but that was about it. Tasted like a marzen.

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Clear golden amber color. Small light tan head. Grainy, sweet, horse-feed nose. Sweet, grainy, pleasant malts. Toffee, faint caramel, light to medium bodied, very nicely balanced, herbal hop finish. Nicely bitter, not overdone...I could drink this all night long.

3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Sweeter than many marzens, and not as carbonated. I was expecting an Americanized (read: hoppy) marzen, but an pleased to report that the bittering hops in the finish are mild. Toffee/caramel malt flavors.

3.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Very smooth, almost silky.Starts off stronger then it finishes, almost beads off of your tongue with a clean , though somewhat watery ending. Tasty. Great for warm days. Went down quickly

3.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20
Dark yellow with little head. Little to no aroma, but it's a smooth and easy-drinking beer. It's a tad bit tart for an O-fest type lager, but this is a good drink.

2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
A bit of warmth to the aroma, which was nice to take in, then more subdued in the flavors. (on tap, Pennsylvania Microbrewers Fest 2003)
