This is not bad German Hefeweizen. Light wheat, and fruity flavors. Finishes clean, crisp, and refreshing.

GOlden color, banana-y clove-y taste. it's ok and seems consistent with the style. sadly though, i can't rate my favorite Hefe-weizen (Volgon's homebrew).

DeGroen’s Weizen is one of the better weissbiers that come close to the imported offerings of Paulaner, Hacker-Pschorr, etc.
Very cloudy with deep yellow-orange hue. Contrasting white head rounds out the pleasing appearance of this beer.
Nose is exceptionally fruity with the standard estery, bananna citrus components. Medium bodied. A full flavored weizen with no discernible imperfections.
4.5 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20 UnionMade (621) - Connecticut, USA - JUL 9, 2003
This is no american hefeweisen. Flavor abounds here. Pours a beautiful translucent gold with a monstrous white head. Big clove aroma, with a touch of banana and vanilla. Smooth flavor, with plenty of hefe esters, mostly clove spiciness. So much, in fact, that if you breathe in with some beer in your mouth, it feels like paint thinner through your nose. Excellent! Very very solid. Nice and malty, sweet, light and absolutely one of the best beers for summer.....if you're looking for flavor.
3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20 unclebleen (620) - California, USA - MAY 20, 2004
Yellow and hazy just like 99% of all hefe’s I’ve had. Small white head with no lacing. Aroma and flavor is bananas with some very light spice. Body is watery and thin. I guess for a hefe it’s not too bad but this just isn’t my style.

Medium yellow - slightly hazy with a thin head. Cloves, citrus and bananas - a bit sweet - fairly well balanced, not bad.

Poured a hazy yellow with a thick white head. Aroma was fruity. Grapefruit and bananas. Thin and watery mouthfeel. Fruity and refreshing, though. This would be a great summer beer.

Cloudy with pale golden brown coloring. Fizzes like soda, indicating artificial carbonation. Banana and clove presence in taste and aroma, with pears also standing out. Tart, cloying finish, like a dry champagne. Way too bubbly to be enjoyable.
4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20 BigSkyman007 (202) - USA - MAY 14, 2005
An excellent American take on the Hefeweizen. Cloudy, cider colored with a rich head. Aroma sweet, of clove and a little citrusy. Flavor a mix between a Weihenstephaner Hefeweizen and Hoegaarden, in its clove, cotton candy, and banana flavoring. A real winner, and a summer treat.

An above average weizen style bear. Nice Banana and clove flavors. Light and drinkable.
