33cl from Drankenservice Pelgrims, Aarschot. Light gusher, with the profile of an oud bruin. BB 23/02/2013.

Clear cola-coloured beer with a small olive rim. Nutty nose, dark malts, dark bread, sweetish. Sweet-bready taste, if a bit flat. Finish has walnut or walnutoil. Pretty well-carbonated, even fizzy. Decent, but IMO, it might have benefitted from a more outspoken flavourprofile.

UPDATED: APR 19, 2011 Various tastings of a 33cl bottle dating from the first week untill two months after release.
Pours a darkbrown color with a copper shine and a white head.
The aroma has notes of bread, a light roasted nut flavor, fruity esters and a strong hoparoma. The palate has a slight candy like sweetness with hints of burned caramel, roasted nuts and a very strong hop pressence. The aftertaste is a decent mixture of sweetness and hops. The hop pressence becomes more subtle after some time which makes more room for the complex fruity esters of the beer. The body is sticky and full.
Surely a wonderfull beer that drinks extremely well and is perfectly balanced.
