Clear chestnut. Dense, modest tan foam. Trace carbonation. Deeply caramelled aroma with hints of dates and almonds. Initially dry and lightly astringent with a walnut skin bitterness and burnt caramel aftertaste. Medium body. Not a hefty girth to the brew but a wide array of Brown malt flavors. Very dry, yet smooth and easy to consume. Finishes lighter with an astringent edge to a nutty, toffee mix. Another well made brew.
