Dec 21, 2002 Mostly clear golden amber. Small, compact white head. Slow, big bubbled carbonation. Light caramel malt aroma with toppings of florally spicy hops. Softly crisp, full and hoppy with spicy, flowery hops atop a mild toasted toffee malt base. Mainly dry with a ghostly malt sweetness. Medium light body. Clean and quaffable. Hop flavor seems dim at times but a trademark sandalwood persona is ever present. Finishes with a balanced toffee, mildly bitter hop blend. Very good.
