Sep 8, 2003 Pours with an amber orange body topped by a thick creamy head. Slightly sweet grainy malt aroma similar to a fresh mash. Slightly sweet grainy malt flavor with a good hop balance. The finish is slighlty bitter and hoppy. Light to medium bodied and smooth.

Apr 5, 2003 Has a light golden/amber color and a slightly sweet smell. Taste was pretty strong of hops and finished pretty bitter. Overall this was nothing special.

Dec 21, 2002 Mainly clear light amber. Off white edge head. Scant carbonation. Very light odor of pale malts, buttery notes and rocks. Initially brisk with a hard water mineral bite and underlying pale malt flavor. Dry. Moderate hop bitterness and a light floral flavor. Medium light body. Toasted toffee notes and a mild plum skin fruitiness. Finishes sharp, still hard water-esque with more toffee aspects. Fans of Bass would love this.
