Dark chestnut. Fizzy tan head. Steady carbonation. Healthy roasted grains and chocolate aroma with notes of barley and oats. Initially a bit watery but modestly malted with a roasted, dry cocoa base and oat smoothness. Dry aftertaste. Medium light body. Flaked barley taste lingers long after, alongside a toasty grain flavor. Powdered cocoa and an astringent roasted property carry through to the end. Finishes solidly flavored and smooth, albeit on the thin side, with an everlasting toasted chocolate covered oatmeal finesse.
