Slightly hazy dull orange. Small, tiny bubbled cream foam. Very light carbonation. Autumn like aroma of apples, nuts, squash and candied fruit. Gently crisp. Appley sweet fruitiness and a hint of earthy smokiness. Medium body. Crisp yet full. Candyish in the aftertaste with a watermelon and raspberry syrup mixture. Finishes thicker with a nutty maltiness and smooth feel to it. A brew to savor at cool temps. Not your typical Oktoberfest brew but quite the flavorful harvest seasonal.

Draught: Sampled at the CT River Brewers Festival. The color is a bit paler than your standard Oktoberfest: more of a pale amber color. That was a dead giveaway as to the rest of the experience. A bit pale in the aroma, as well as a bit pale in the taste. It was a good beer, but it lacked the full-bodied maltiness that you usually get with a good Oktoberfest. Don't get me wrong: it is still a good beer, but just not up to par with the style.

On tap at the CT River Festival. Malty aroma with hints of apples. Flavor is much the same, somewhat malty a little fruity, and slightly sweet.
