As from 2015, they started using the word "Oude" on the labels as well. Beer is nevertheless still the same.
Dekoninck Gueuze lambic is a traditional gueuze from the Pajottenland. By spontaneous fermentation and year-long maturing in oak vessels, the gueuze Dekoninck obtains its specific flavour.

Bottle split at home, 21/11/15. Lightly hazed golden with a decent off white covering. Nose is funky, wood must, lemon rind, pissy citrics, stagnant pond. Taste comprises earthy straw, apple core, lemon rind, balsa wood, light acidic rise, funk, barnyard. Medium bodied, spritzy carbonation, drying close. Adequate gueuze.

37.5 cl bottle @ Malminkartano. BBE 06.10.2031. Aroma has earthy tones, grapefruit and some orange. Flavour has grapefruit, earthy tones and orange. A bit more sweet and less aggressive than gueuzes usually.

Large bubble head. Lambic slash infected aroma. Watered down and sweetened kind of geuze though still feels authentic. Good pick for the newcomer.

Bottle shared at home. Slight hazy orange golden with fizzy white head. Sour grains and some lemon, light rubber, diesel fumes, hay, wet socks, funk. Light sour. Medium bodied with fizzy carbonation. Decent gueuze, but slightly too much rubber for me (like some other Boon lambics).

Clear golden with a small frothy white head. Aroma is quite grainy, tart green apples, citrus, some barnyard, old hops, funk and minerals. Taste is light sweet, medium tart fruity and funky. Finish is medium tart, slightly dry with grains and minerals. Light to medium bodied, average carbonation.

375 ml bottle @ Gastropub Tuulensuu. BBE 03.09.2034.
Pours clear golden color with a large head. Yeast and apple notes on the nose, some wood and orange. Green apples and spices on the flavor, yeast and apricot. Nice, sourness is just right with its sweetness.

bartlebier (2820) - Belchium im Biersgau, GERMANY - MAY 25, 2015
UPDATED: MAY 29, 2015 37,5cl bb09/2034. Bodacious yellow pour, mid-fizzy, thick white head. Worty, malt-infused lemon rind aroma with sturdy barnyard, mild old cider. Taste is straightforward like an old lemon rind cider, just as smooth and sturdy as Boon and Moriau from the same pedigree, with mid-lingering berry notes towards refinement. Manages to do a less spectacular job than Tilquin with less refinement as well in the +6% league, but still very sturdily on-topic, easily drinkable and quenching.

Corked and caged bottle split two ways. Light hazy golden pour with a rather big head (for lambics). Green apples, lemon juice, funk, apple skin, some wheaty notes. Actually pretty good!
