Bottle. Nice head with good duration. Color is amber. Aroma and taste are cherries, candy (labre larver), malt, fruits and has a sweet finish. Tasted both a new and a vintage 1990 that was quite a bit oxidated.

Bottle 750ml. Pours purple with low pinky head. Some lacing. Aroma is of berries, sugar. Taste is of sugar, cherries, very slight acid. Palate: Medium body. Soft-medium carbonation. Overall: A bit artificial, like candies. Nice fruits, but sweet. Maybe the beer was not cold enough...

bottle shared by julienhuxley, thanks bro. pours unclear medium burgundy with a nice slightly creamy pink head, good retention and lacing. sweet cherry candies, cough syrup, pepper, light acidity - citric mostly - unable to cut through these heavy sugars, spicy cinnamon, tiny bit of funk, grass and bitter herbs. average carbonation, light to medium body - oily and sticky sugars, very lightly astringent, citric, sweet - if not cloying - and grassy-spicy finish. not sooo bad.

Pours a dark and clear red with a small pink rim for a head that leaves good lacing. Nose is just like dark cherry coulis with extra cherry meat added. Taste is really sweet with cherries that feel like for real but they are drowned in sugar so you can’t tell for sure. Body is medium-full, heavy, sticky and just too sweet overall. Just OK.

Bottle (750 ml). Hazy beautiful ruby with a small persistent pink head and little lacing. Aroma is of sweet cherries with herbal notes, light spiciness... a tad artificial too. Taste is of sweet cherries, herbal notes, light spiciness and light metallic notes. Medium body. Medium carbonation. Moderately syrupy mouthfeel. Light lingering spiciness. Too sweet. A bit artificial. Lack of drinkability and balance.

Bottle shared at a tasting. Bright red pour. Cherry candy aroma, light spicy notes, slightly artificial smelling. Taste is sweet, sweetened kriek, not totally unlike Lindemans kriek, slightly cloying, heavy and spicy. Palate is med-full bodied with medium carbonation. Not bad, but really lacks drinkability.
