3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle in Untertürkheim BsAs. A very true-to-style Bock which tastes very German; obvious lager character (or at least lager malt) with toffee, honeycomb, caramalt and dryness all in the taste, The beer ends smooth, caramelly and malty with a hint of dryness, just as most German bocks do. A good try at a difficult style.

2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Bottled at Untertürkheim, Buenos AiresPours a dark, mahogany color with a medium sized tanned head. Aroma is too citrusy for a bock. Flavor is somewhat sweet with coffee notes but holds an overall unpleasant sourness. Bitter end.
