3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 Fukito (611) - Ann Arbor, USA - FEB 17, 2007
Bottle at Unterturkheim, February 2007 shared with Lilith. Beatifull deep black opaque color with a huge brownish head. Aroma of coffee, roasty. Caffeish, acidic taste (mostly from the dark malts, but I think some slight infection was going on). Thin bodied and refreshing. I don´t think this is 13% as stated in the bottle. An interesting slightly soured stout.
2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 ghawener (1243) - San Salvador, EL SALVADOR - SEP 11, 2008
UPDATED: SEP 12, 2008 Bottle at Cruzat: Solid stout, nice body, smokey, woody, earhty. Lacs the typically heavy headbut it doesn’t affect taste.
3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 Jukkabro (3473) - Tampere, FINLAND - JUL 10, 2007
Black colored, little dark brown head. Rich aroma with vanilla and oak, sweet roastiness and coffee also present. Medium bodied. Flavor is biting with with also roastiness and some smoke, mild tangy sourness also there. Aftertaste lasts with this biting roastiness, weird brew indeed.2

Bottled. Very dark brown colour, small brown head. Aroma is roasted malts, acidic and has some slight hints of old coffee. Flavour is spicy, ashy, slightly roasted malts as well as some earth.
3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 omhper (15964) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - JUL 2, 2007
Bottled. Very black, small brown head. Light coffee aroma. Medium sweet and full bodied with lots of coffee and milk chocolate. Rounded buttery mouthfeel. Restrauned flavourwise, but has some light burnt, ashy notes. Fairly low bitterness. Not as good as their smoked stout. If this is 13% it is exceptionally well hidden...
3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 TBone (9414) - Pori, FINLAND - JUL 1, 2007
Bottled (BB 05/2007)
Almost pitch black color, brownish small head. Coffeish, chocolaty aroma. Tar, ash and coffee in the flavor. Quite full-bodied but it can’t be 13 % as bottle says. Very tarry aftertaste. Interesting to have an imperial stout from Argentina, unfortunately this is not so special.
3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 sayravai (4548) - Helsinki, FINLAND - JUN 29, 2007
(Bottled) Pitch black with a very small, beige head. Very malty, sourish aroma with some unclean cow-dung twist. Ashy-malty, roasty and lactic-acidic flavor. Dry finish. Medium-bodied with low carbonation. Not a bad stout, but quite ashy.
