COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Manana is a Mexican-style amber lager (cerveza oscura). The malty, bold flavor of this beer recalls the European roots of Mexico’s great brewing history. Smooth and rich, Manana is superb, whether enjoyed alone or with your favorite Mexican food.

12 oz. Clear brown-copper with a small ring of bubbles. Nose is toffee, dry grass and a touch of dark cherry. Taste is the same mix, plus some earthy chocolate and roast. Light-medium body is well balanced, has low carbonation and is pretty drinkable.

Orangey copper, thin spongy head. Smells like cracker jacks - Corn, caramel and some nutty aromas. Taste is bready, toasty, caramel, and a dryish finish. Maybe it’s better with spicy food...

Bottle from Half Time. Pours clear copper with a few beige bubbles. Light caramel aroma. Med minus body. Flavor is definitely roast malt with some very light noble hop. I think it would stand up to most Viennas. There’s a herb/yeast/spice complement that’s fairly pleasant. Still, it’s hardly bitter at all.

Bottle. Pours amber with off-white head. Aroma of tosdyed grain and band-aid. Flavor not much different, hint of sweetness and very faint mild hop. Light, watery body with high carbonation. Overall, wouldn’t turn down if offered to me.

Amber, very nice head. Aroma is a bit of rind of lime. Taste is lots of roasted malt and not very much bitterness. There’s some toast or crusty, earthiness going on. I’m enjoying this brew as I was expecting something more industrial.
