Dark amber color with a thin head. Barley noticeable hope aroma. Just a bit of bitterness in the taste to match up with a light malt body. Mediocre, but good for a session.

Light caramel malt aroma with a light grassy hop background. Pretty similar flavor except that there’s a paper bag element at the end. Dull stuff.

On tap at the brewery 11/26/2004 Delafield Brewhaus Delafield Amber has a copper appearance with a small head and good lace. The aroma is of mild hops and bread. The flavor has good bread characteristics. The body is fair. Overall, not very interesting.

Had this at Delafield. It had a nice clean dark orange appearance, not much head out of the tap, and expected carbonation. I thought it had good malt flavor without being too sugary or cloyingly sweet. It could have used just a touch more hops. Not bad overall.

Tap at brewpub: Very light all around with some sugary malts making a presence and little to no hops. Watery and thin. Much better to be had at Delafield.

Clear gold body, minimal head. Barely any aroma from this. light and sweet taste... a type of toffee. This beer won an award. Not bad, but not award winning IMO.

Copper/Amber color with a light beige head. Light caramel aroma. Sweet and chewy. Like drinking hop infused caramel.

Very light caramel appearance and aroma. Smooth and drinkable, but bland. Nonetheless, a decent amber.
