On tap at Delafield Brewhaus. Poured a clear, ruby/garnet with a short pinkish head. Nose picked up lots of fresh blackberries, some wheat, and fruity liquor... not much else. Flavor found tart blackberry and wheaty notes.. not bad, but didn’t do it for me. Berry tartness on the palate along with graininess across the middle... slightly stale finish.

I was surprised with this one. I actually liked the amber ale that was the base beer and thought that the blackberry flavor was nice. Overall, the blackberry was a bit strong, but both aspects of the brew were nice.

LIghtly hazed amber to rose colored liquid. Smaller off pink head. Aromas of berries and pale malt. Flavors are dominated by berries with a raspberry and cranberry mix. Not catching the deep blackberry flavors. A berry brew with just a hint of amber.
