Bockyhorsey (1878), Mesa, Arizona, USA Oct 18, 2005 Sampler; Yellow body with white head. Corn aroma and flavor gives you the bitter beer face. Typical pils. muzzlehatch (4422), Burlington, Vermont, USA Oct 16, 2005 Pint at the brewpub. Big fluffy snow-white head with good retention topping a light clear gold body...fresh, mild grassy nose with light hints of acerbic hops...sweet, malty, bready initial flavor profile, reminds me of Portugese sweet bread...dries and thins out quite a bit late with a smattering of iron. StewardofGondor (1934), Washington Heights - Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA Oct 14, 2005 Completely transparent yellow-gold in color with some renegade bubbles rising to the top, where a dusty white head and similar wrung hold dominion. Bright aroma with sugary lemon wafers, expensive dish detergent, and lollypops. An over-arching theme of cleanliness, brightness and sweetness. Interesting garden variety flavor. Initially thin and then an herbal character is divulged. Malt profile is generally shunned while much attention was devoted to the hop bitterness. Tingly, musky, dry and clean. Quite possibly a contract brew for Stetson Cologne. badgerben (2989), Blaine, Minnesota, USA Oct 8, 2005 Clear gold color with a medium head. Interesting aroma that reminded me of honey. Dusty hops flavor with a light malt base. Wow... simple, yet tasty. One of the best made pilseners by a brew pub, hands down! Ughsmash (2773), Waukesha, Wisconsin, USA Sep 10, 2005 Clear light straw pour with a tall not-so-dense white head. Very nice lacing as this one went down. Floral/herbal hops and pilsener malt were crisp and sufficiently potent in both the aroma and flavor. Very clean mouthfeel... very well-balanced and tasty brew!
