On tap at Delafield Brewhaus. Poured hazy medium amber with a sticky cap of whitish head.. nice lacing followed it down. The aroma picked up sweet, toasted caramel and bready notes first and foremost.. floral character emerged with warmth.. very sweet overall. The flavor was sweet as well, with dark fruits and toasty caramel leading.. a touch smoky on the back-end, also picking up some earthy and fruity bitterness.. OK balance. Grainy sugars throughout the palate, along with sharpness from the bitters and carbonation.. spicy and warmer feel than it should’ve had.. this seemed under-attenuated.

Draught at the pub. Pours a hazy amber with a clumpy film of off-white head. Leaves wide swathes of lacing down the glass at first which settles in to a spidery array of white lines. Aroma is a surprising citrusy hops. Flavor is a little odd, sweet and piney but lacking backbone. Thin feel, mild lingering bitterness.

Had this one on draught at the brewpub in Delafield, Wisconsin. Hazy, reddish brown pour, a filmy, tan head, potent piney hoppiness and a dry finish, very well done!

Amber to brown color with a light tan head. Full malt aroma with a hint of hops. Malty and hoppy flavors. Caramel sweetness well balanced. A bit hoppy for style.

Medium copper color with a thin lacey head. Mellow malt and hop aroma. Flavor is mostly caramel malt with a medium bitter finish. Good adherence to style.

A dark brown beer with a creamy, long-lasting head. Mild caramel scent. The taste was kind of a dark bitterness. The hops were pretty pronounced, with just a bit of malt holding it back. As I got deeper into the beer, the bitterness faded a little, letting a bit of caramel come forward. Nice creamy mouthfeel. Interesting beer.
