Clear golden brown with a nice, creamy head leaving decent lacing tracks as we go. Aroma is scotch, pepper and pecans. Flavor is like scotch on the rocks after sitting on ice for about an hour. Some pepper, tree bark, caramel and burnt walnuts round out the flavors. Thin bodied. This could use a shitload more malts. Finish was decent, with a nutty and a robust aftertaste; the problem was that everything leading up to that just wasn’t very enjoyable.

Dark topaz color with a small cream colored head. Clean light cocoa aromas. Actually very light in aroma. Chocolate and dark caramel favors. Some earth hops qualities. An easy drinking brown. Just not my style.

Brown/red color with a thin head. Very nutty aroma. Piles of nuts (walnut, chestnut) in the flavor with a lot of malt backing. Very dry too. Damn fine brown ale!

Brown/Red Coloring with White Skin. Toasted Nut and Malt Aroma. Hugely Dry...Dusty Malt, Toasted Nuts...Hops and Dry Nuts Aftertaste....Which Lingers on the Back of the Throat For Quite Some Time. Very Nutty and Characterable.
