3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Malty, chocolate aroma, light taste of roastiness, and dark chocolate, body was a touch thin, each swallow gives a fresh bakers chocolate taste, bitterness couters all that malt. nicely drinkable,if the body were a tad heavier,we’d have something special here

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
On tap at the Delafield Brewhaus. Poured a darker brown color with a smaller sized off white head. Weaker aromas of chocolate and coffee. Tastes of pretty much the same with roasted malts. Thin and watery body. Very lightly bitter finish. Weak for a porter.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Dark brown with a thin, creamy gray head. Aroma is rich milk chocolate, nearing dark chocolate. Flavor is cocoa powder and dark chocolate shavings. This porter is all about chocolate and nearly nothing else. Full-bodied and creamy. Everything is modestly balanced. Finish is chocolate chips. A decent porter. Hope you like chocolate.

At Delafield: Slightly red in the light, otherwise brown. Had a little smokiness, but also an amount of chocolate flavors I would associate with a stout. The hops were of a nice straight bitter nature. It had a fairly dry finish. I like it.
