On tap at Delafield Brewhouse. Murky brown with a thin tan head that wastes away quickly. Aroma is rye and booze up front with alcohol, tannins, mild oak and sweet malts. Taste of rye, caramel, oak, brown sugar, whiskey, alcohol and a touch of tobacco. Smooth and too sweet with obvious warming on the finish.

5/11/12. On tap at the brewpub. Nice amber pour with a small khaki head that sticks. Nice sweet whiskey barrel aroma - plenty of vanilla with lots of sweet caramel and hints of dark fruits. Overly sweet flavor with tons of caramel and a bit of barrel and dark fruits.
