A medium bodied dark ale. This brew was aged six months in a bourbon aging barrel.

Ughsmash (5824) - Waukesha, Wisconsin, USA - AUG 22, 2005

Notes from 8.12.05. Poured deep brown with a little bit of caramel-colored head. Aroma was roasty with notes of chocolate, vanilla, and light coffee. Flavor carried through some burnt malt, and whiskey. Medium-bodied and coated the mouth well. Finish was of whiskey, roasted chocolate, and a little hoppy bitterness. Pretty solid offering from Delafield.
