COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Mueselare was a type of Beer that, around 1550, used to be brewed by four breweries in Delft, expressly for export to Middelburg, in the Zeeland province. In those times, it was considered to be a considerably heavy beer. Ingredients: water, pilsner- and wheatmalt, hops, yeast and spices.

Poured a clear golden with a thin frothy head with nice lacing. Restrained aroma of floral hops and sweet malt. Low carbonation, sweet spiced floral flavour with a lingering bitterness.

Bottle @ home. Clear orange color, medium to full sized decently lasting white head. Don’t get a lot of aroma. Taste is also pretty hard to describe imo: I only get malts, yeast, some herbs or spices, light to moderately sweet-bitter. Average to medium body and carbonation.

Quite bitter beer with an aroma of bread. Not too special, but for old times sake an interesting beer.

Bottle from my European Secret Santa, many thanks. Hazy golden color with medium white head. Aroma of malt, wheat, banana esters, some spices. Taste, sweet malt, wheat, bee wax, spices.

Uklar lys brun med hvitt skum. Humle, hvete, sitronlukt. Medium bitter, kort ettersmak, medium kullsyre

Bottle, caged and corked. Pours a light hazy, orange beer with a small white head that fades really quick. Aroma is of spicy yeast and not much special. Flavour is rather bland, medium bitter with a light sweetness. Quite boring.

33cl Bottle from ABC Beers. Clear golden colour, white head. Aroma of sweet fruity esters, light spicy, coreander, light malty, lemon. Flavour is sweet, sweet lemon, banana, fruity esters, light spicy, decent almost herbal bitterness underneath, light prickly bitter finish. Light to medium-bodied. OK, but just a standard tripel imo.

Hazy gold beer, little white head. Semi dry palate. Semi sweet tripel like malts. Clear peach note running through. Sweet orange follows the peach. Finishes with a dash of spice. Decent. Very tripel like!

Nice, strong ale. Tastes of wheat, coriander, and some orange peel. Smells a bit of hay, yeast, and some orange again. Tried in Delft with Angela, Dave, and Jessica L. on Queen’s Night.

Bottled, 330ml from C1000 Supermarket, Delft, Netherlands. Pale gold with gushy white head. Light, thinnish malts, maybe some biscuit with a grainy, poppyseed background. There is a light lime like hop, overpowered somewhat by quite heavy spicing, corriander, basil? Short in the finish, reasonable enough though.
